www.solenis.com .Solenis is seeking an experienced leader for the newly created position of Senior Director, Commercial FP&A. This position will lead a team of 7 directors/associate directors and their teams in support of Solenis’ Commercial objectives, including but not limited to pricing execution, volume growth, mix enhancement, margin expansion and Operating Profit management. This position is highly visible in the organization and has excellent growth potential for motivated candidates.The ideal candidate has a history of leading Financial Planning and Analysis (or similar) teams, and utilizes a data driven approach to help the Business execute on its financial objectives. The position owns the operating plan, forecast, and strategic planning processes for the area of focus, and must possess critical thinking skills to understand and influence the contents, assumptions, and rationale behind financial projections. Additionally, the incumbent will lead the Commercial organization in terms of defining, tracking, and improving performance on key growth metrics. The candidate will also be responsible for development and maintenance of materials for the C-Suite and Board of Directors.This includes communicating results, bridging actuals versus plan/forecast/prior year, price/volume/mix analysis, and identifying gaps in performance. This position will strategically partner with Business Leaders and will work closely with the Sr. Director of Operations FP&A, the Controller, and other key Finance leaders. It is critical that the incumbent is capable of building strong relationships and trust with Finance and non-Finance leaders within the organization. Finally, this position requires knowledge of financial systems and consolidation systems to drive speed, automation, and condense detailed forecasts/budgets/actuals into actionable outputs.Responsibilities Include the Following

Ownership of monthly reporting process for sales through Direct Operating Profit, including segmentation of product lines, markets, corporate accounts, etc.Analytics to support internal growth initiatives, monthly insights, and performance managementDrive the annual planning, forecast, and strategic planning processes for the Commercial OrganizationPartner with Operations FP&A to fully connect supply / demandSupport potential Mergers and AcquisitionsProcess Improvement, Ad Hoc analysis, and Business Decision SupportQualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or another relevant field10+ years of professional work experience ideally including P&L management, business partnership, and planning/analysis of actual resultsStrong communication skills, able to distill messages to critical action itemsBusiness Partner mentality, helping internal customers achieve their critical objectivesStrong decision-making skills, using data driven insightsCapable of leading an international team of directors, managers, and analystsDevelop, mentor, and train employeesAbility to travel up to 10% of the time (both domestic and international)We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
