As a Sr. Corporate Counsel, you will report to the US Associate General Counsel. You will be responsible for providing proactive and practical day-to-day counseling, legal advice, and support primarily to our Warehouse, Logistics, and Workplace Health and Safety teams but also serve as a generalist. This position is expected to be a key business partner and to contribute to the success of the Company by combining both legal and business expertise to understand SHEIN’s operations and strategic goals. You will partner closely with members of the US Legal team and business departments and support internal clients of all levels. This role requires a mature individual who can fight fires as needed and provide practical legal advice that supports business objectives. This is a strong growth opportunity for an enterprising lawyer looking to join a fast-paced and dynamic team.Job ResponsibilitiesAdvise, assess, and train internal clients on compliance with health and safety-related laws and regulations, e.g., Occupational Safety and Health Act and similar federal, state and local requirements in the US, as well as internal health and safety standards and policies as they relate to warehouse operations.Advise, assess and train internal clients on compliance with federal, state and local laws related to supply chain logistics, including but not limited to handling of dangerous goods or hazardous materials.Structure, draft, negotiate and review various contracts, including logistics, supply chain, compliance and related agreements.Standardize and maintain templates and playbooks for the logistics team.Consult with senior leaders to proactively issue-spot, provide advice on risks, and drive practical business solutions to complex supply chain disruption issues.Assist with the implementation of risk assessments, standard operating procedures, monitoring, auditing, and other related health and safety compliance controls.Respond to a wide range of legal inquiries from internal stakeholders, focusing on understanding their needs, providing practical solutions and effectively managing risk.Job RequirementsJuris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.Member in good standing of at least one state bar, preferably the Indiana or California bar association.Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, and Workplace Health and Safety.Detail oriented, a creative mind and excellent communication/presentation, writing, and analytic skills.Self-starter with strong critical thinking and sound judgment to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.Demonstrated judgment, personal integrity, and interpersonal skills.Ability to build positive relationships with senior management, global partners, and other members of the legal team to positively influence outcomes.High level of emotional intelligence.Willingness and interest in handling various legal matters, even if they fall outside day-to-day responsibilities.Must be willing to travel up to 25%.Nice to HaveA combination of Law firm and in-house experience.Fluent in Mandarin.Pay$118,500 min. - $202,000 max annually.
