In the event we are selected through the competitive process, we would like to quickly draw upon a pool of talented professionals and are accepting prospective applications now.Director of Nursing OperationsThe Director of Nursing Operations is pivotal in bridging the gap between the Operations Center and clinical care. They supervise a medical operations team, which includes Registered Nurses (RNs), PRN staff, and Medical Data Entry personnel, all operating within an Emergency Operations/Command Center (EOC). Additionally, the Director is the primary liaison between the onsite medical staff, offsite healthcare providers, and definitive care facilities when required.Compensation & Benefits:Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Director of Nursing OperationsPay commensurate with experience.Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.Responsibilities Include:Perform administrative duties as they relate to:Facility Staffing/schedulingMaintains the highest of standards of carePlans and oversees admission, nursing, and patient care processCoordinates with medical staff and other departments to ensure efficiency of medical careProvide ongoing education classes for all nursing staffDevelop SOPs as necessaryAssign, schedule, and monitor RNs/PRN/Medical staffing to provide continuous coverage 24/7/365Oversees all electronic record keeping processes, ensuring all necessary documents are accurate and up to dateImplement quality improvementsReportingIncident responseResponsible for Mental Health “holds” paperwork, securing inpatient care deliveryResponsible for securing urgent and non-urgent patient care transportationOversees delivery of all vaccines, including but not limited to COVIDBe prepared to work extended work schedules, including weekends, holidays, and shifts beyond 8-hoursShifts per week can vary from 4 to 7 days a week, depending on demandComplete reports dailyPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:Bachelor’s in nursing required, MS preferredFive years of experience in nursing with increasing responsibilityRN Licensure. Active, current, unrestricted.Experience supporting medical operations within an EOCBasic Life SupportGraduated from an accredited nursing programSupervision experience for guidance/mentoring/schedulingScheduling experienceProcess improvements in a health facility are preferredAbility to be favorably credentialed in the State of South Carolina CAThe location of services may sometimes be in remote, austere, or challenging environments.Must be able to perform duties in a stressful and high-paced environment without physical limitations.Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and/or command prioritiesBilingual – English/Spanish OR English/Hindi preferredMust pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee FederalCompany Information:Cherokee Nation Management & Consulting (CNMC)
