Manages the process of obtaining contracts with suppliers of alcoholic beverage products from inception through execution. The role will report to and work under the supervision of the Vice President and Associate Counsel, Contracts.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain form database for contracts; transmit form contracts to new vendors and help to manage existing vendors; track proposed changes to form contracts; manage approval process and execution; maintain the electronic database and hardcopy files of vendor contracts and related documents and correspondence.Provide technology support as it relates to the maintenance of a contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution, signing agent, and other related systems.Process contracts for signature through the legal department’s electronic signature procedure.Manage contracts and other legal matters using the legal department’s matter and contract management database.Manage the contract’s team public and SharePoint site.Maintain and help design cross-functional workflows to contract and vendor approvals.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree and five years of experience or equivalent education and related experience.Experience as a paralegal with an in-house legal department managing contracts and high-volume process workflows.Preferred QualificationsAbility to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams outside of the legal department.Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships.Knowledge of MS Office Suite, CLM software, signing agents, and software applications related to job functions.Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem-solving, problem management, presentation development, and communication skills.Physical DemandsPhysical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine. Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
