The Opportunity
Response Labs is seeking a Project Manager with digital advertising agency experience or brand equivalent to join our team at our Baltimore headquarters.
You’ll be responsible for resource allocation, timing and workload management of Response Labs’ production, creative, and strategy and data teams. Projects under your management will include CRM and loyalty marketing campaigns and the creative execution and development programming of email, SMS, push, and digital media assets for media and brand campaigns. You will shepherd all projects through our project management system, Jira, work cross-functionally with internal resources to ensure projects are set up for success and executed on time, on budget and deliver on the ask.
Our Clients look to and trust us to bring solutions at all levels and to be stewards of their CRM and loyalty marketing programs. Response Labs’ expertise is very technical in nature so an existing eye or motivation to understand deep technical details is a large part of this role. You must be able to balance multiple large complex projects with quick turn fast-paced deliverables with a small, yet nimble team.
The ideal Team Member is curious, self-motivated, and a quick learner, able to produce in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where switching between multiple projects with a keen eye for detail is the norm.
You’ll be part of the Response Labs Client Service Team with a direct reporting line to the Director of Client Service and a dotted line to the Chief Technology Officer who oversees the Production team. You will work day-to-day with Production, Strategy and Data, Media and other cross-functional Team Members to tackle each Client’s unique needs. At times, this role may be client-facing.
Responsibilities
Understand client scopes of work, what deliverables and services fall within scope, and the hours allocated to internal resources.
Manage task assignments in conjunction with Department Heads for internal and external contractor resources where applicable.
Understand all project steps, changes and internal needs to complete initiatives on time and on budget.
Organize, maintain and distribute all necessary brand and project assets required to complete a project (style guides, copy documents, past project reference materials, project briefs and input documents).
Established resource and expert on project management systems, process flows and procedures.
Thorough understanding of all client asks and the team’s needs to complete the ask to expectation.
Drive project creation, status and flow in the company project management system, working to identify and minimize project risks, and maximize efficiency of all processes.
Responsible for timelines, status and project updates to be presented to assigned clients.
Establish consistent internal status meeting structure, run internal status meetings, procuring updates from all teams on the status of projects and ensuring all team member priorities are outlined and clearly communicated.
Requirements
4+ years as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
3+ years experience working in a digital marketing/advertising agency, or similar client-side marketing position.
Proven experience successfully managing the output of internal cross-functional teams.
Proven experience driving the execution of digital campaigns and projects.
Experience working on high-volume, high-demand, digital marketing programs.
Experience managing cross-channel marketing projects in email, web, advertising, and mobile.
Experience managing creative design projects for digital marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience crafting client-facing documentation.
Solution-minded approach to problem solving and team dynamics.
Nice to Haves
Experience working with loyalty marketing platforms like Punchh.
Direct or indirect management experience, or experience managing cross-functional teams.
Technical platform knowledge of the leading CRM and Digital Media platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Cheetah, Braze, Mailchimp, The Trade Desk, Google and Facebook advertising).
