Pelium Real Estate Asset Management, LLC (“Pelium”) is a leading asset management platform fully dedicated to supporting Apollo’s commercial real estate financing business in the United States. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to work with the transaction management and legal team in closing commercial real estate loans. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of commercial loan closing experience and will be based in New York City.

Overall Purpose of RoleThis role will be working on the servicing team focusing on CML closing and funding. Responsibilities include:Act as liaison between Borrowers, APO Investors/Capital Sleeves, and Internal Business Stakeholders such as CRE Credit Originators, Legal Counsel, Apollo Finance and Servicing Departments to facilitate the closing of commercial real estate and construction loans.Coordinate with Apollo Middle office & Origination team to help ensure timely funding on new originations.Work with Appropriate Servicing and Operations teams across Apollo Capital Sleeves to submit trade allocation requests.Coordinate with Origination team and external counsel to complete funding, servicing and operational provisions of commercial mortgage loan documents and supporting schedules including reconciliation with approved investment memos.Coordinate with External Counsel after loan closing to ensure fully executed loan documents are received by APO Investors and ensure final recorded documents are received.Ensure all compliance requirements are met for all Apollo capital sleeves at closing.

Qualifications/Requirements

5 to 10 years of commercial loan closing experience, including loan document review, understanding of funding mechanics and driving the loan closing process.Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and perform in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized and detail-oriented.

The annual full-time base salary range for this role is $140,000.00 - $175,000.00. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full-time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
