ATI is seeking to hire a Purchasing and Supply Chain Intern for our Summer 2025 Internship Program. This position will be based in Millersburg, OR and will run from June to August 2025. Relocation and housing assistance is available for the summer. This is an onsite role and cannot be done remotely.

The Purchasing and Supply Chain Intern provides tactical and strategic direction towards improving material and information flow. The focus of this position is to improve and perform the batch/batch-step dating process and run/distribute reports on a pre-determined cadence. This role will be key to providing accurate information to Operations to allow them to make the best processing decision possible.

The Purchasing and Supply Chain Intern is responsible for batch / batch-step dates within the ERP. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead project to optimize stocking levels for key maintenance components
  • Onboard suppliers
  • Run and develop key metrics for Purchasing and Supply Chain
  • preparing traveler packets to developing processes.
  • Creating, maintaining, and supporting reference documents to support end users
  • Prepare traveler packets for release to Operations (printing traveler, quality attachments, sample labels, etc.)
  • Manage internal customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date
  • Developing data entry, process, and audit standards to ensure accurate data exists within the ERP system (Oracle)
  • Using and promoting continuous improvement systems and thinking in everyday work
  • Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements
  • Running and distributing reports on a daily/weekly/monthly schedule
  • Manage inventory of supplies needed to perform job

Basic Qualifications

  • A student actively pursuing a degree in business, supply chain or other similar relevant discipline

Preferences

  • Highly prefer a candidate seeking a Bachelor's, or other higher level, degree

Additional Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Able to solve complex problems
  • Enjoys working in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Capable of accurately entering data into ERP system
  • Completes work with limited supervision
  • Detail oriented
  • Problem solving ability, both individually and in a group setting
