Job Title: Field Technician
Location: Houston, TX, 77061
Duration: 10 Months Contract (possible extension)
Pay rate: $28.98/hr on W2
Additional Information:
50% travel
Must be local to Houston TX
Job Description:This is a Field technician role that will be driving to the different auction sites to assist with any technical issues that arise.Someone with knowledge of desktop hardware/software, telecom, wired/wireless networks, printing devices, and mobile phones (both IOS/Android).Provisions and maintains end user computing devices (e.g. desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, fax and copy equipment).Experience in installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems, escalating to the responsible area with accurate information, and providing technical guidance and oversight.Should have an excellent Customer Service record, exceptional written/verbal communication, ability to prioritize tasks, effective time management, and willing to travel/support two auction locations on opposite sides of the Houston metroplex.
