JOB SUMMARY
The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. This is a full-time position offering benefits including medical, dental, and vision, employer paid long and short-term disability, continuing education funds, and 401K.
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday. This is a salaried position with a monthly profit sharing commission!
This position can be located in Frisco or Breckenridge, CO
THE DETAILS OF THE JOB
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform and document an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. Review physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine diagnosis and physical therapy treatment required.Plan, prepare, or carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.Obtain patients' informed consent to proposed interventions.Administer manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart or enter information into computer. Test and measure patient's strength, motor development and function, sensory perception, functional capacity, or respiratory or circulatory efficiency and record data.Discharge patient from physical therapy when goals or projected outcomes have been attained and provide for appropriate follow-up care or referrals.Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.Meet the Company's expectations as described in the VSON Policies and Practices.Maintain confidentiality of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with company Policies and State and Federal laws, including OHSA and HIPAA regulations.Perform job in accordance with all company safety practices.Other duties as assigned.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
This job operates in a medical office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This role may have frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and may be interruptive. Contact involves dealing with injured people who may be angry or upset with their situation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position is very physical and requires standing for long periods of time, stooping, bending, stretching, and supporting of patients' body weight.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. It is necessary to view a computer monitor for medium periods of time.
Duties require manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard and mouse, operate a calculator, telephone, copier, scanner and other office equipment as necessary.

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required.CPR certification required.Current Colorado Physical Therapist license required.
