Job SummaryThe IT Asset Analyst works with IT Software Asset Program Manager to manage software licensing and entitlements. This includes helping to create reports for compliance and usage of software which will be used for software harvesting and internal audits. They will work with the IT Application owners to identify the appropriate software for incoming software requests. They will help to enforce existing and newly created policies and procedures relating to IT Asset Management.

Job Responsibilities:Responsible for managing incoming IT Work orders assigned to IT Asset Management.Monitors software licensing compliance, monitors software usage, and current software install base to identify areas of inefficiency and recommend changes or improvements.Interacts with other departments and/or outside vendors to create, maintain, communicate, and validate IT Asset Management processes.Works with vendors to provide licensing quotes as needed.Creates and documents reports to assist in decision making relevant to IT Asset Management processes and policies.Maintains a working knowledge of the major computer systems used by the Bank as well as the products and services offered by the Bank.Analyzes licensing levels and recommends changes for greater efficiency and cost control.Assists in the development of software standards to be used within the Bank.Assists in ensuring the completion of assignments within defined time-lines, budget controls, and quality standards.Supplies hardware inventory reporting and other reports as needed for the IT department.Provides support and is cross-trained to assist IT Reporting and IT Budgeting functions.ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of training and related field experience or work experience.Minimum experience required: 3+ Years as an asset analyst/specialist or equivalent experience coordinating asset management practices preferred and preferably in a financial institution.Preferred Qualifications:
Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of training and related field experience or work experience.ITIL certification.ITIL certification in Asset Management or Asset Management specific certifications.Job Competencies:
Computer literate with an advanced knowledge and usage of Microsoft Excel.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Broad technology knowledge.Familiarity with software licensing legal requirements.Demonstrates organization and communication skills.Displays initiative and courage.Ability to work with other people and be a team player.Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.Ability to work independently and follow through assignments to completion.Ability to plan, organize and coordinate projects.Ability to exercise sound judgment.Ability to maintain a professional composure with customers in difficult situations.Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to customer information and employee records.
