Job Description
Construction in Indian Country (CIIC) is seeking a Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and direct the activities and functions to fulfill its mission to support construction management education to benefit American Indian and Indigenous communities. This position works independently to ensure that the goals and objectives of the program are accomplished in accordance with priorities, tight timelines, funding limitations, and other specifications.
Working Environment
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended period of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse.Frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distance to perform work.Ability to communicate clearly in person, on the telephone, and by email to perform essential functions.Able to lift up to 30 lbs.Valid Driver's license and use of vehicleAble to work outside of normal business hoursOccasional off campus work required for events/meetingsMinimum Qualifications

Essential Duties
Develops and monitors routine operations and coordinates CIIC activities, including, Annual CIIC Conference and Golf tournament; website; and fiscal management. Establishes agendas and minutes for, and facilitates Advisory Board meetings, and; other meetings as identified.Facilitate the activities and meetings of volunteer event committees.Development and facilitation of a portfolio of educational workshops pertaining to current trends and issues pertinent to Construction in Indian Country. Working with the CIIC Advisory Board, tribal leaders, and industry.Plans the annual CIIC conference and separate annual Scholarship golf tournament, in collaboration with, the CIIC Advisory Board and CIIC Conference and Golf Volunteer Committees. Manages event planning, logistics, and negotiations of costs for events including venue, food, entertainment, golf, identify and secure appropriate speakers, presenters, tribal leaders to participate in meetings and conferences; scheduling and target audience communications that adhere to Arizona State University policies and in collaboration with the DEWSC Program Chair. Responsible for marketing and growing conference and golf attendance and sponsorships.In conjunction with DEWSC Administration, coordinates and contributes to grant applications for the purpose of securing external funding for CIIC programs. Additionally, works with faculty as support and co-collaborator on faculty research proposals of mutual interests.Functions as DEWSC/CIIC liaison with tribal nations and tribally related organizations locally, regionally, and nationally. Works closely with the Tribal Affairs Liaison in ASU's Office of Government and Community Engagement and the Vice President and Special Advisor on American Indian Affairs in the Office of University Affairs.Assist with recruitment and retention of Native students in SEBE. This includes serving as advisor to the Construction in Indian Country Student Organization (CIICSO), supporting student organization activities, meeting with CIICSO leadership regularly, and functioning as a resource and support for Native students when needed.Prepares annual budget, makes budget recommendations to the SEBE leadership, controls, forecast expenses, selects services, equipment, and resources to support CIIC and other organization activities including the annual conference, golf tournament, and scholarships.Monitors ASU Foundation and ASU accounts pertaining to CIIC through IFAS and Workday, reconciles monthly reports and creates financial reports as required. Requests transfers from ASUF to ASU as needed.Maintains databases to track revenue and expenditures. Establishes expenditure controls and recommends the allocation and limit of funds. Prepares annual year-end reports and evaluation for CIIC, including conference and golf mixer, registration numbers, sponsorship revenue, expenses, profits, projections, start-up costs, salary allocation, endowment allocation, American Indian student enrollment numbers, and student grant recipient summary data.
