Shift Supervisor - Lincoln, NEADM Lincoln, NE Soybean ProcessingSalaried Exempt Position

Job DutiesPosition is responsible for providing direction to an hourly production crew of the Lincoln, NE soybean extraction plant. The candidate will coordinate communication, personnel, resources and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant during the shift. Must be able to communicate expectations and goals for safety, quality, productivity, reliability, environmental compliance and operating costs. Takes an active role in managing the shift and coaching employees to reach their fullest potential by providing feedback in a manner that is effective, consistent and fair. This position reports to the Extraction Superintendent.

Strong commitment to safetyMust promote, train and supervise employees in all safety initiativesTake a hands-on active role in managing shift and employee performanceSupports and engages in ADM Performance Excellence effortsTroubleshooting skills and the ability to plan workDetail oriented with strong organizational and record keeping skillsExcellent communication (spoken and written), listening and teamwork skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, bending, kneeling, working with tools, work in extreme temperature conditions, and work in a dusty environmentRegular, prompt attendance and ability to work rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, willing to accept after-hours call ins when necessaryComputer literate in Maximo, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and desire to enhance skills through education and trainingHigh school diploma or equivalent combined with 5 years' experience in maintenance and or operationsLeadership experience, having direct experience in successfully leading changePassion for process improvementStrong interpersonal and conflict management/resolution skillsAble to represent management professionally and efficiently to internal/external customersResponsibilities
