Summary

The Adminsitrative position will serve as the Breeder Clerk to provide administrative and/or clerical support generally to the Breeder Manager and Flock Advisors.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Day to day duties include but are not limited to:

Enter flock data and generate reports in Mtech Inventory System

Inventory Management/Order Office & Poultry Supplies including medications/vaccines

Create/receive Requisitions/PO’s in Maximo/fleet po’s as well

Process Accounts Payable invoices

Generate Producer Contracts/egg label/barcodes

Key in feed ticket on Penny’s sheet and send back, receive against blank po in maximo

Assist Breeder Manager and flock advisors with all reports and files as requested

Answer phones and communicate messages to appropriate personnel

Greet and manage visitors

Operate/maintain office machines

Maintains company files

Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail

Minimum Education

High School or equivalent

Background in accounting/accounts payable

Experience Requirements

2 -4 years related experience. Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience in accounting/accoutns payable.

Experience Preferred

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.

May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.

May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.

Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
