DescriptionErias Ventures is seeking a Data Engineer that will be reporting to a designated Enlighten Supervisor, with the goal of learning Enlighten's approach to design, build, and optimize Big Data Platform (BDP) systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at scale. The intern will be assigned special projects as needed.

ClearanceMust have a current Secret level security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

ExperienceFive (5) years of experience as a developer, analyst, or engineer with Bachelors in related field; three (3) years relevant experience with Masters in related field; in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and nine (9) years relevant experience.

Required skills:Data acquisitionDevelop data set processes (Extract, transform, load (ETL))Use programming language and tools (Java, NiFi, maven, etc)Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and qualityPrepare data for predictive and prescriptive modelingUse data to discover tasks that can be automatedBenefitsErias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $175,000 - $275,000.
