Description:1. Control Panel / Control Box design 2. VFD - 3 phase variable frequency drives 3. sizing of electrical components (fuse, wire, To and From lists) •Variable Speed Drivers (any and all are a positive for this role)•They should know: How to Size? Configure•Control Panel - Integrationo BoM Mgmto Understanding of concept to design for Control Panel (development)•Understanding of 3 phases - Control Panelso Wire Harnesses - low voltage to high voltage o 3 phase wiring o RoutingThe biggest need is for an EE that understands industrial electromechanical controls/panels. Ideal person would understand how breakers/contactors are used for controlling motors, understand the basics of sensors - pressure, temperature, flow, level, etc. Should understand electrical diagrams for motors, sensors, heaters, switches, electronic components - sufficient to create electrical schematic drawings and then be able to develop wiring harnesses from these.Ideally would have some experience with sizing/design of power components (inductors, capacitors, inverters, rectifiers, etc) Skills:BSEE, Electrical engineer, schematics, VFD, variable frequency drive, Electrical, Schematic, cabling, load calculations, wire harnessSomeone that has prior experience with VFDs, control panel design/layout, electrical component qualification & selection, wire sizing, agency certification, etExperience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
