As a Data Analyst on Customer Success team, you will provide expert knowledge in analyzing, organizing and developing data requirements that can come either from Connection Point clients/projects or from internal Connection Point partners and develop relevant data scripts per requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and the work quality, quantity and tasks of the Data Analyst and the Data Technician and provide "best practices" and data solutions to meet the data needs of the Project.- Resolve participant issues independently and in coordination with Case Managers.- Identify additional participant community resources and program services to meet project employment, community service and unpaid work experience placement goals.- Develop data collection instruments; develop and utilize instruments and methods for the evaluation and quality control of research or operational data.- Collect, analyze, interpret and summarize data in preparation for generation of statistical, analytical and narrative reports.- Produce documentation to support formal process mapping, glossaries, data dictionary, non-functional requirement specifications technical design, system testing and implementation activities.- Write SQL queries that retrieve data from systems.- Troubleshoot issues in reports related to data.- Create and use ad hoc queries to investigate data issues in relational source systems.- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives.- Assimilate, integrate and interface technical knowledge with business/systems requirements.- Verify technical system specifications meet business requirements.- Monitor report request queues and provide end-user support.- Analyze current and potential systems.- Maintain computerized collection and tracking of relevant data.- Utilize specified statistical software to analyze and interpret research data, as appropriate to the individual position.- Maintain appropriate records of research methods and results.- Design and/or develop specific databases for collection, tracking and reporting of research data, as appropriate to the position.- Provide time sensitive ad hoc reports as requested by management.- Participate in proposal writing data searches; may develop and/or present training programs in field of expertise, as needed.- Provide a variety of professional, fiscal, administrative, and/or clerical services to department.- Work with State personnel as needed to identify and receive needed data elements and resolve data issues.- Lead, guide and train Data Analyst and Data Technician, other staff, interns and/or volunteers performing related work.- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Function as point of contact for analyzing Data Change Requests coming from Production environments. This includes pulling and analyzing data from SQL and NoSQL databases, flat files, json/xml doc types and any connection point supported data formats from supported data sources.
- Develop and Test Data scripts to implement Data Change Requests. This includes ENUM/Data table updates, complex DB Queries including joins, procedures, triggers, flat updates.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of database technologies, complex database scripting and relevant coding languages.
- Develop data infrastructure and pipelines to automate data change requests to capture, organize and execute project data requirements.
- Execute Approved/Pre-Approved data changes request in production via established data change control process and Update Jira tickets with data change request details and data scripts.
- Analyze extracted data, identify trends and provide insights and analyses around operations and project data.
- Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive meaningful, actionable insights for stakeholders and business development partners.
- Develop and implement new metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs as needed.
- Code to defined requirements to segment populations from large enterprise datasets, verify data accuracy, and output files per specifications.
- Participate in PI planning meetings and plan Data Change requests into the agile sprint work by discussing the priority with service delivery teams. Identify any data change related work that any on-going implementations and existing projects might need and be proactive in discussing the data requirements and implementation to get them on relevant backlogs.
- Create and maintain all documentation including obtaining and collecting artifacts as needed.
- Ad hoc tool development to support operational and analytical areas.
- Excellent collaborative attitude to work with different Connection Point stack holders in Development team, Quality Engineering team, Solution Architecture team, Capability & Analysis team.
- Perform any post release metrics from production environments and communicate it to Connection Point leadership partners in Development Leads, QE Leads, Application Architecture Leads.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience.- Advanced degree or professional designation preferred.- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.- Work requires considerable judgment and initiative.- Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Compute Engineering, Data Science or related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent understanding of SQL & NoSQL database systems.
- Proficient in Data analysis, has strong analytical skills, Proficient in CRM, Communication skills and strong Problem-solving abilities.
- Be Data-centric, focusing on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to derive insights and drive strategies.
- Knowledge of how to apply technology to drive connection point transformation into existing business models.
- Knowledge of agile delivery practices.

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
