The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and development of advanced control solutions for robotic and electromechanical systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
Architect, analyze, and simulate circuits and PCBs, including schematic and layout design, testing, troubleshooting, and integration into robotic and electromechanical systems. Manage the full lifecycle of circuit design, including specifications, analysis, simulation, prototyping, testing, and documentation. Design circuits for applications like three-phase motor control, encoder interfaces, microcontrollers, CPLD, ADC/signal conditioning, power management, and high-frequency power supplies. Develop algorithms and program microprocessors and CPLDs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on electrical, thermal, and packaging design, integration, and testing. Work with external suppliers on PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, and testing. Troubleshoot, rework, and integrate PCBs and other electrical components, with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Proficiency in design tools like OrCAD, PADS, or similar. Expertise in circuit analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting. Extensive experience with digital and analog circuit design, including Ethernet/EtherCAT and power electronics for electromechanical systems. Skilled in test equipment (oscilloscopes, DAQs, power meters) and circuit layout (schematic and physical). Experience with 3-phase motor control, Matlab, EtherCAT, BiSS-C, thermal management, and resonant circuits is highly desirable. Strong lab skills, including rework and SMT PCB soldering.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with relevant industry experience.
