Manufacturing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Development: Inspire and mentor a diverse manufacturing team, fostering a collaborative environment dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing Management: Direct all aspects of the production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, sales, and supply chain teams to align project timelines and resources with customer requirements.
- Efficiency Enhancement: Analyze production processes and implement strategies to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Quality Management: Establish and maintain robust quality control procedures to meet industry standards and exceed customer expectations.
- Safety Leadership: Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices across the manufacturing environment.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure that company vehicles are equipped with essential tools, parts, and materials for effective support, all provided by the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management position, preferably in an engineered-to-order or custom manufacturing context.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and techniques.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, emphasizing continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.
- Proficient in manufacturing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
