The Role:
Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients for food and nutrition, is seeking a strategic and innovative
Head of Commercial Core Ingredients for the Americas . This role will oversee our food and nutrition business segment, driving growth through strong leadership, customer centricity, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess extensive food and beverage experience, particularly in B2B environments, and demonstrate a keen understanding of market dynamics.

Compensation:
The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $231,990 - $313,900. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Business Management:
Lead and manage the Core Ingredients business for food and nutrition in the Americas, ensuring alignment with Roquette's strategic goals.Sales Leadership:
Directly manage a sales team with 2 direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture and driving sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targetsCustomer Centricity:
Enhance customer engagement and satisfaction by implementing best practices that focus on understanding and addressing customer needs.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Align and collaborate with various teams within Roquette's food and nutrition business units, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Technical Service (CTS), and Research & Development (R&D) to drive innovation and optimize product offerings.Market Analysis:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decision-making.Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute business strategies that leverage Roquette's strengths and capabilities in the marketplace.Performance Metrics:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and drive continuous improvement.What You'll Need:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, Food Science, or a related fieldExperience:
Minimum of 15-20 years' experience in commercial roles, specifically within the food and beverage or ingredient industry, with a strong emphasis on B2B experienceProven experience in leading sales and/or marketing divisions, demonstrating strategic thinking and hands-on project management skills.Ability identifying and influencing product opportunities, showcasing ability to lead initiatives from concept to market.Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with experience building high-performing teams and nurturing talent.Excellent communication and influencing skills, with an international mindset and ability to collaborate with teams globally.Business Travel:
This role will require 10-25% travel as needed.Occasional international travel may be expected.
