We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support a very busy partner and team in the Corporate - Energy & Climate Solutions practice group, in our Boston office. This position offers a wide range of responsibilities and challenges that will utilize your strong administrative, organizational, leadership and legal practice skills and knowledge. Your duties will include extensive contact with the firm's clients, heavy scheduling and travel arrangements, new matter and billing coordination, maintaining and monitoring attorneys' calendars and email, and other projects as they arise. You will assist attorneys in managing day-to-day operations and will work closely together in helping build a vibrant practice. You must take initiative to ensure the partner is prepared for their day and week, for meetings and business travel, and anticipate upcoming needs for support. You will be professional, a self-starter, energetic and committed to producing a high quality work product, as you work independently and as part of our Boston office team.

This role will be hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the office with occasions of additional days in the office, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant, supporting senior level executives, ideally within a law firm or professional services organization.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up and excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to treat sensitive/confidential information with appropriate discretion.
  • Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to function professionally under pressure, while managing multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
  • Must possess personal tact, discretion and good judgment. Acts with integrity in all situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven competencies in software applications and programs, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook is required. Experience with Nuance is a plus/preferred.
  • Excellent word processing and file management skills.
  • Law firm experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must be flexible and available for overtime work.


The primary location for this job posting is in Boston. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $42.00 - $56.82 per hour.

The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
