Job Description: This position reports to the Employment Services Division in the Greater Upstate Region. Incumbent will deliver a broad range of services to assist individuals in resolving barriers to employment and increase skills in order to obtain or maintain employment. Focuses on customers and locations in rural areas in South Carolina. Educates individuals regarding DEW programs, policies, and services. Provides assistance with all services as needed within an SC Works Center. Provides services to other regions in South Carolina as needed. Counties served are Greenville, Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, Saluda, Cherokee, Spartanburg, Union, Anderson, Pickens & Oconee.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

High school diploma and four (4) years of experience working and building relationships with community-based organizations, rural communities, and/or state organizations. Experience in conducting outreach with target populations, building relationships with external and internal partners and stakeholders. Demonstrated experience working with customers.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with at least three (3) years of experience providing client centered case management, counseling, rural area work, or a related field.
