Sales Manager
covering UK, to join and lead our team and drive sales growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work with innovative technologies (including chromatography instrumentation from manufacturers such as Agilent, Gerstel, SYFT Technologies and LECO), build relationships with key decision makers and have a direct impact on our business.The sales manager is responsible for driving growth by managing the full sales life cycle.Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets
Manage Sales Team:
lead, motivate and unite team members around a common sales strategy, organise and coordinate commercial activities, evaluate employee's performance and support their development whilst driving high performanceLead Generation & pipeline Management:
Identify potential clients, generate leads and manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth in market shareClient Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholdersProduct Expertise:
Provide in-depth knowledge of the company's product portfolio and how the equipment can meet customer needs, supporting technical demonstrations and consultations where necessaryNegotiation & Closing:
lead sales negotiations, prepare proposals and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long term partnershipsMarket Analysis:
Monitor industry trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and expansionCross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the applications laboratory, servicing team and marketing to ensure seamless customer service and feedback loopsSkills / Qualifications
Proven Sales Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B sales, preferably within the analytical chemistry or capital equipment industryTechnical Knowledge / Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Chemistry (or related field) with a strong understanding of analytical instruments specifically GC-MSTrack Record of Success:
Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and growing market shareCommunication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesSelf-motivation & initiative:
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic teamTravel:
Willingness to travel within Europe, primarily in the UK and Ireland (up to 50% of time) to meet clients, attend industry events and be actively involved in the leadership team onsite#LI-JD2Company Overview
