Senior Principal Quote to Cash Software ArchitectJob SummaryAs a Value Stream Architect for the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) Engineering team, you will serve as a key technical leader responsible for driving the architecture, scalability, and optimization of the entire QTC value stream. This position requires collaboration with executive leadership, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to design and implement technology solutions that support business objectives across quoting, order management, product, pricing, fulfillment, billing, and revenue management. You will establish the technical direction, ensure integration and modernization of systems, and drive continuous improvements across the entire value stream.ResponsibilitiesLead End-to-End Value Stream Architecture: Architect and optimize the entire quote-to-cash lifecycle, including quoting, pricing, order fulfillment, billing, and revenue management processes, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business goalsStrategic Technology Leadership: Define and execute architectural strategies to modernize quote-to-cash systems, transitioning from legacy platforms to cloud-native, microservices, and API-driven architectures. Align architecture with long-term business objectivesTechnology Roadmap Development: Collaborate with product teams to develop and maintain a strategic technology roadmap that supports the organization’s long-term objectives, enabling scalability, efficiency, and business growthCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product heads, domain architects, and business stakeholders to ensure IT strategies align with business needs and goals. Act as the liaison between technical and business teams to ensure cohesive technology and process designsSystem Integration & Interoperability: Lead the design and implementation of integration strategies across diverse systems, ensuring seamless data flow and communication between quoting, order management, fulfillment, and revenue recognition systemsArchitectural Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks. Create and maintain high-level architectural models, designs, and blueprints for the value streamOptimization & Continuous Improvement: Analyze and optimize key workflows in the quote-to-cash lifecycle to drive system performance, scalability, and process efficiency. Identify opportunities for improvement using AI/ML and automation technologiesRisk Management & Problem Solving: Anticipate technical risks and proactively develop scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. Resolve complex architectural challenges and troubleshoot critical issuesMentorship & Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to technical teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation. Lead engineering teams in architectural best practices and modern engineering methodologiesSecurity & Compliance: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to safeguard digital assets and ensure that architectural decisions meet security and regulatory requirementsAgile & DevOps Practices: Advocate for Agile methodologies and DevOps practices across the value stream, driving continuous integration, delivery, and automation across the tech stackQualificationsExperience: Minimum of 15+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or related fields, with at least 5 years working within the Quote-to-Cash domain (CPQ, order management, billing, etc.). A minimum of 5+ years in a senior technical leadership or value stream architect roleEnterprise Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in designing and scaling enterprise-level systems and processes, with deep knowledge of quote-to-cash systems such as Salesforce CPQ, SAP, Oracle, and other relevant platformsTechnology Stack Expertise: Strong proficiency in cloud-native technologies, microservices architecture, APIs, enterprise integration, and data flow managementStrategic Thinker: Ability to align technical solutions with long-term business strategy, ensuring scalability and future readiness while driving technical innovationLeadership & Collaboration: Experience in influencing senior leadership and collaborating across functions to achieve shared technical and business goals. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
