Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 32 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities
The Business Analyst supports day-to-day operations of the Administrative Applications Organization. Responsibilities include the ownership of internally scoped deliverables as directed by the Director of Administrative Applications which can include but are not limited to software renewals, budget actions, contractor renewals, audit deliverables, vulnerability remediation deliverables, technical debt, internal process and procedure reviews, and roadmap action items. In addition, this role may serve as a Scrum Master as needed which includes oversight and administration of the required Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective as well as other ceremonies and actions as required. This position will ensure compliance with policies and procedures including those established for Administrative Applications.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
