As a Satellite Mission Management Systems Engineer, you will help drive the definition of end-to-end solutions to successfully manage emerging satellite architectures for national security space programs. You will leverage your knowledge of the industry and existing mission management systems and approaches in collaboration with other systems engineers, software developers, and Subject Matter Experts to define and model candidate system architectures, conduct trade studies, and identify gaps and risks that must be addressed to successfully develop future mission management systems. You will engage with clients and industry partners to keep the team informed about the development of future space architectures, and play a role in delivering on existing programs and shaping future mission management opportunities to continue expanding our business and mission impact.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience working within an Agile software development construct
- Experience with satellite mission management systems
- Experience with mission systems and interfacing with mission management planners and operators on a technical level
- Experience with manual software testing
- Knowledge of large DoD or IC satellite ground systems, including OPIR
- Knowledge of mission needs, and conveying capabilities of software platforms
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with national security satellite systems for SIGINT or GEOINT
- 1+ years of experience with the development of proliferated satellite architectures for either commercial or government space systems
- Experience developing solutions in classified Cloud environments in the Intelligence Community or DoD
- Experience developing and executing automated software testing scripts
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with Linux and Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps software development
- Knowledge of automation techniques, or artificial intelligence and machine learning
- TS/SCI clearance
