This position will report to the Chief People Officer and will be responsible for developing and executing programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience aligning strategic initiatives and talent strategies in support of business objectives. This includes collaborating with HR teams to implement innovative learning and talent programs which enhance people development and employee engagement, ultimately driving organizational success.Your day to day•    Develop and lead the global talent management strategy and execution, including talent acquisition, development, engagement, retention, and succession planning•    Partner with business leaders to understand their talent needs and develop strategies to meet those needs•    Collaborate with HR business partners to ensure the talent management strategy is aligned with the overall HR strategy and the company's goals and objectives•    Develop and implement programs and initiatives to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent•    Lead the development and implementation of performance management and career development programs•    Manage the talent review and succession planning processes•    Develop and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent management programs and initiatives•    Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent managementWhat you bring to the team •    Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred•    10+ years of experience in talent management, including talent acquisition, development, engagement, retention, and succession planning•    Experience leading a global talent management function•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills•    Ability to influence and collaborate with business leaders at all levels•    Strong project management skills•    Knowledge of HR laws and regulationsWhy Proofpoint Protecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
