Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(Including the following, however, additional duties may apply as required)
- Work safely at all times
- Utilize 10 ton overhead crane to load/unload steel plate from trucks
- Load and unload steel plate on to Laser and Kinetic tables
- Utilize forklift to move pallets and parts
- Driving yard truck and trailer to move plates between buildings
- Complete required paperwork with our ERP system
- Ability to consistently be available to come to work
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Experience with using at least a 5 ton crane
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with using tape measure and caliper
- Good math skills
- Safety driven
Physical Demands
Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane, forklift or stand-up may be required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, step up & down from a laser table, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
