Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) is seeking an IT Manager of Business Application Delivery. This role plays a crucial role in overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of business applications, with a primary focus on Website, Mobile App and Headless CMS (Content Management System) technologies. The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have the following skills, abilities, and experiences, which includes but is not limited to:• Strong understanding of web development technologies, headless CMS, cloud platforms, API gateway, authentication, and authorization.• Experience implementing personalized content delivery systems and integrating backend services with frontend applications.• Understanding of Docker, Containerization, Kubernetes, Microservices, message broker architecture. Understanding of iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service preferably IICS), API integration, real-time data processing, external service integration.• Strong understanding of web development techniques, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks. Familiarity with React.js, Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL.• Minimum of 7+ years of people management and leadership experience to provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT and development team. Responsible for interviewing, training, providing performance reviews and administering corrective action as appropriate.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements for handling PHI and HIPAA.• Develop and maintain processes for real-time data processing and analytics to support business operations.• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to website infrastructure and operations.• Experience with CI/CD, agile practices and monthly sprints.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related files. Master’s degree is preferred.• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology or related field preferred; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Ability to work extended hours as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Primary job responsibilities are:• Technical Oversight:• Manage a team of IT developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.• Oversee the technical development and enhancement of Health, Pension, Content Management, RPA and Website Products, ensuring their stability, scalability, and security.• Lead the development of application architecture design diagrams to ensure all stakeholders understand what is being built and what the dependencies are.• Provide oversight on CI/CD pipelines to include automated testing.• Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and translate them into IT strategies.• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Digital Product Owner, lead the planning, execution, and delivery of monthly product releases.• Manage and configure the headless CMS used for content management on our website. Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure efficient content delivery and seamless integration with frontend applications.• Evaluate, and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for website development tools, CMS platforms, and related technologies.• Maintain a deep understanding of Website development frameworks, CMS platforms, and emerging technologies to innovation and efficiency in application delivery.• Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of business applications.• Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams.• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and MPIPHP’s security policies.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $150,000-$175,000 annually. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
