Fulltime positionResponsibilities:Job Description:Client is seeking a Field Inspector to support the delivery of energy efficiency programs to commercial and industrial customers in direct support of Client's energy efficiency programs in the Client's NJ territory. As a Field Inspector you conduct site inspections for commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects and/or customers.Client is committed to promoting diversity and equity within the clean energy sector. We strongly encourage candidates from diverse and under-represented backgrounds to apply to this position.Responsibilites:Coordinate and schedule site visits with commercial & industrial customers throughout New Jersey.Confirm project scopes of work with customers and confirm that scopes match project applications and records.Conduct inspections to document existing building conditions, operations, and schedules and to identify potential efficiency measures. Verify compliance with program requirements.Develop inspection reports that summarize on-site findings and include photographs and action items to resolve discrepancies.Understand and utilize program workbooksManage inspector queueReview and analyze pipeline data/reportingSuccessfully complete assigned work on time and within budget.Communicate effectively with building owners, operations staff, and contractors.Minimum Requirements:Eligibility to work in the United States.Residency within the State of New Jersey, preferably from regions identified by the state of New Jersey as Overburdened Communities ( )Prefer someone that lives in/around the Newark/Jersey City/Hoboken area (Central Jersey)Reliable means of transportation to facilitate site visits throughout the State of New Jersey.Responsible for maintenance and fees of the transportation vehicle.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Aptitude for understanding of building science including mechanical, electrical, and/or weatherization technologies across a broad array of building types.Strong computer and record-keeping skills: proficiency in MS Office and use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).Ability to work with culturally diverse customers and contractors effectively and respectfully.Additional Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience conducting Energy Efficiency Inspections for commercial and/or industrial buildings.Residency in a region identified by the State of New Jersey as an Overburdened Community
