Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
Rapidly formulate a differential diagnosis from assessments conducted within the clinic settingInterpretation of testsCounseling liaison to women's support group programsWill conduct breast exams, gynecological disease and treatments, including prenatal care; colposcopy; placement of IUD's and general OB/GYN office proceduresDevelop and implement treatment plans for patients assigned within the primary care teamProvide guidance to nursing personnel towards treatment plans and care issueDocuments treatment plans in the medical recordDocuments collaborative guidance from the physician as neededCoordination of care for patient

Required Qualifications:
Master of Science degree in Nursing or Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant StudiesNational Nurse Practitioner Certification in Women's Health, Adult or Family and/or Certified Midwifery or Physician Assistant certification or ability to obtain prior to employmentUnrestricted, active licensure in the State where this position is based, or ability to obtain prior to employmentCurrent DEA or ability to obtain1+ year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an OB/GYN or Women's Health clinic settingAbility to perform colposcopy or ability to obtain training prior to beginning employmentIntermediate level of technical proficiency in the use of computer programs for medical records or internet search for clinical practice
Preferred Qualifications:
Current NPI and/or PTAN number or ability to obtainAbility to communicate with patients, primary care team members and management staffAbility to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physicianAbility to formulate a differential diagnosisProficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Nevada Residents Only:
The salary range for this role is $109,513 to $160,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
