firm and we have delivered on that label time and again.LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ. Our New Jersey operation is poised for growth and we need an accomplished environmental engineer or scientist to lead that effort.
Responsibilities
Performing a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to: planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design and remedial operationsCoordination and presentation of design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agenciesPerform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditionsSupervise the development of project plans, design calculations and specificationsCoordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver servicesComplete and review planning documents, design calculations; assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specificationsProvide solutions to technical and contractual issues during the projectsUtilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new constructionEngage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in New Jersey and the Northeast RegionLead the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting servicesAttend industry and business development events as a representative of the firmMentor and develop junior environmental group staff
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Science12+ years’ experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental ConsultingNJ PE or PG requiredNJ LSRP is a plusAbility to provide guidance to engineers and scientists of all skill and experience levelsUnderstanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and consistently meet deadlinesWe are committed to your success, and we will invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.
