Production Worker

**Job Title: Material Handler****Job Description**As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for preparing materials by loading products onto a vertical rewinding machine, preparing products for scans, and documenting any irregularities. Your role will include operating a 4-point harness overhead crane to transport products, preparing labels and other shipping documentation, and moving products to the shipping area. You will also need to document final lengths and weights, operate binding equipment according to specifications, and comply with all company and safety policies.**Responsibilities**+ Prepare material by loading products onto a vertical rewinding machine.+ Prepare products for scans.+ Document any irregularities.+ Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into the quality database.+ Comply with and assist in enforcing all company and safety policies and procedures.+ Operate a 4-point harness overhead crane to transport products.+ Document final lengths and weights.+ Prepare labels and other shipping documentation.+ Operate binding equipment according to specifications.+ Move products to the shipping area.+ Perform additional duties as assigned.**Essential Skills**+ Experience in material handling, general labor, and loading.+ Proficiency with inventory management and scanners.+ Ability to conduct quality inspections.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and move 50 pounds or more with the aid of a cart.**Why Work Here?**Join a team that values safety and quality, with opportunities to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role requires regular standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, and crawling.
