is a 40-year-old practice with more than 35 physicians and 30 advanced practice providers located in 17 locations throughout the greater Austin area. We service areas in Austin, Kyle, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Bee Cave, Georgetown, and many more. We are currently looking to add a full-time Appointment Scheduler.

Assist with high call volume
Maintain physicians schedules and patient appointments
Keep accurate records of patient visit notes
Identifying & address patient issues
Assist in patient registration and financial transactions
Assist in collecting patient and insurance and payment information.
File records in appropriate sections of patient charts in EMR.
Perform other duties as assigned

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of one year's experience preferred in a related field. Healthcare experience is preferred.
Performance Requirements:
Knowledge of computer programs and applications.
Knowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures, and make changes accurately.
Excellent Ability to communicate written and verbally.
Comfortable in addressing issues and upset patients. Able to solve problems in a positive manner.
Skill in operating office equipment
Skill in handling incoming phone calls and triaging appropriately.
Ability to learn/use other computer programs including Microsoft Excel, e-mail, Internet, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
