The Engagement Specialist will serve as a proactive career advisor for employees identified to participate in the Eagers Appliers Pilot via analytics, referrals, or business requests. This role acts as a “lifeline” to employees whose career development efforts have stalled, providing targeted outreach and support.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for guiding others in their career journeys. They should possess a deep understanding of the nuances of career development and have a track record of successfully supporting employees in achieving their career goals. Additionally, they should be adept at leveraging analytics to inform proactive outreach and intervention strategies.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide enterprise-wide and segment-specific outreach and support to employees
Assess root causes of career development stalls and work with employees to triage next steps and program solutions
Partner with program managers and Talent Marketplace leadership to design and deploy solutions for employees who apply to 10+ roles within a month or 30+ roles within the past year
Offer insights regarding application status and advocate for employees for open roles where they are a solid match
Provide referrals to existing talent development programs based on root-cause assessments (e.g. Career Care, Just in Time Coaching and Career Champions)
Proactively create networking connections to areas where demand and supply opportunities match
Collect, analyze, and provide thought leadership to drive pilot iteration and the continuous evolution of sustainable and scalable long-term solutions for talent mobility

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in business and/or people team roles
Experience working with analytics and reporting to drive work prioritization and proactively capture themes and insights
Solid interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in an ambiguous and agile work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of enterprise career development resources, talent acquisition tools, and other talent mobility resources

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
