Work collaboratively with People Analytics and People Analytics customers in the development and production of standard and customized rapid response reporting and data visualization to drive actionable decision making

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing/developing, programming, maintaining and publishing operational/strategic reports
Provides operational/strategic analysis utilized for decision making
Make recommendations based on analysis and provide explanations for reporting results as needed
Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements and interpret customer requests for feasibility, priority, and complexity
Consults on existing solutions for possible enhancements or new solutions to solve customer questions to standard or non-standard requests/problems
Analyze and investigate customer issues with structured and unstructured data
Create and maintain internal process documentation and customer-facing help documents
Support projects and change initiatives aligned to key priorities of People Analytics and People Analytics customers
Understands priorities and organizes prescribed and non-prescribed work to meet or exceed deadlines and expectations
Proactively keep data secure and decommission legacy content in our environment
Understand underlying data structures of standard reporting (complex join criteria, table sources, data types, data definitions, dataflows) and be able to find, validate, combine, and export raw and derived datasets
Understand basic user experience standards for online products
Serve as a resource to others within the People Analytics community; provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues, problems, and solutions
Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with Human Capital/People Teams, business or financial analysis, etc.
2+ years of experience analyzing data and combining datasets to develop reporting products/solutions
1+ years of experience building dashboards and visualizations in a data visualization tool such as Domo, Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI or similar Business Intelligence platform
Working Knowledge of SmartSheet
Experience researching issues, investigating data accuracy, and performing quality checks
Experience communicating both verbally/written with people at a wide variety of levels in an organization
Previously worked or are currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in data extraction, manipulation, validation, and management
Experience researching issues, investigating data accuracy, and performing quality checks
Intermediate level of experience in ETL for visualization tools: complex formulas, inner and outer joins, aggregate data, and pivot data
Intermediate level of experience in SQL/HiveQL: counts, select statements, filters, groupings, etc.
Project Management skills

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
