Our location offers a blend of rich history, a strong sense of community, and proximity to major metropolitan areas, providing an ideal balance of work and lifestyle.Job ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will work with a team of cybersecurity professionals supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Organizational Messaging Service (OMS) program. Key responsibilities include:Applying patches and changing system configurations, including Group/Local Policy and Windows registry.Resolving security findings on systems and deploying Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) modules.Supporting the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process by providing responses to security controls and gathering evidence.Ensuring compliance of systems with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Scans, and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs).
This is a
HYBRID
position, allowing for 2 days remote and 3 days onsite at our facility in Fort Detrick, MD.RequirementsExperience with Active Directory, including deploying changes via Group/Local Policy and the registry.Proficiency in utilizing PowerShell Script and batch commands.Experience with DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SSBI with SCI clearance.DoD 8570 qualified certification (example Security+).Attention to detail.Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
Desired Qualifications
System Administration experience.Experience with CYBERCOM's Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices.Experience with installing and configuring DISA's Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).Experience with DoD's Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) (previously HBSS).Working knowledge of public key infrastructure and encryption systems.
