Description

Position Overview:

Middletown Chevrolet is seeking a reliable and professional Independent Contractor Dealer Trade Driver to facilitate vehicle swaps between our dealership and other dealerships in the region. This role involves transporting new and used vehicles to and from designated locations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:Coordinate vehicle swaps with our dealership staff and other dealerships.Pick up and deliver vehicles between dealerships, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurately completed.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to document existing damage and ensure vehicle condition.Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with dealership personnel.Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.Maintain accurate records of mileage and vehicle information.Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable upon delivery.Communicate effectively with dealership staff regarding any issues or delays.Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Experience driving a variety of vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and trucks (experience with high-end vehicles is a plus).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Must have a smartphone for communication and navigation.Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading vehicles, entering and exiting vehicles frequently, and driving for extended periods.Requirements:

Must possess your own reliable transportation (truck, van, or SUV suitable for vehicle transport).Must maintain valid insurance coverage as required by law.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.Compensation:

Competitive per-trip rates based on distance and vehicle type.
