Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements including comparisons to budget, for domestic and international companies. Manages the closing process which includes; organizing the monthly closing folders,balance sheet review control files, maintaining the journal entry control sheets and standard journals for domestic and international. Accumulates and reviews journal entries received from accounting staff. Verifies and researches account balances for reasonableness. Runs integrity reports, verifying the financial statements are in balance, researches and resolves out of balance entries. Maintain the currency tables for revaluation and restatement of Mexico financials, month end reconcile and resovle variances of intercompany accounts, transfer pricing for consolidation, run the currency restatement entries and reconcile all companies for USD consolidated financials, prepare the month consolidation for US and Mexico, review and post journal entries, compile and prepare analysis necessary for month end accounting entries and enter into general ledger, reconciliation and analysis of various general ledger accounts for domestic company. Preparation of specific budgets, government census reporting, provide support for external auditors, and Associate Director of General Accounting for various analysis and special projects, ad hoc analysis, and prepare internal audits.
