Description

OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for an HLA Assembler who will play a crucial role in the assembly process of High-Level Assemblies (HLAs). You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly of components, contributing to the production of top-tier products. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute the assembly of High-Level Assemblies according to established procedures and guidelines

Perform quality checks on assembled components to ensure adherence to specifications and standards

Interpret and follow assembly blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Operate various hand tools and equipment required for the assembly process

Work closely with other team members and departments to achieve production goals and maintain a smooth workflow

Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process, collaborating with supervisors to find solutions

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in assembly, preferably in a manufacturing setting

Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

EDUCATION

High School Diploma

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high places, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and may require hearing protection in specific locations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stand for long periods and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. For specific jobs, employees may be required to wear a respirator or ear plugs.
