Our client in the technology industry is seeking a Database Engineer to join their team. As a Database Engineer, you will be part of the Database Management team supporting various applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Design and develop efficient database schemas, including relational table structures, keys, indexes, and relationships, ensuring adherence to data normalization and performance standards.
Analyze and fine-tune SQL queries to enhance performance, reduce latency, and handle large-scale datasets effectively.
Develop and implement efficient transaction management strategies, ensuring data integrity and consistency in high-concurrency environments.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and make recommendations for hardware and software optimizations.
Implement secure data storage practices, backup and recovery protocols, and manage role-based access to the database.
What's Needed?
5+ years as a Database Engineer, Database Administrator, or similar role, with a strong emphasis on PostgreSQL.
In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including advanced features, transaction management, and performance tuning.
Proficient in SQL and PL/pgSQL for developing complex stored procedures and optimizing database operations.
Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting performance issues and understanding complex database interactions.
Precision in database design, query structure, and data management to ensure data integrity and efficient operation.
