Palliative Care Physician needed in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA
A top healthcare system in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA is recruiting for an eligible or board- certified Palliative Care Medicine physician. They will be expanding our current palliative care service line, by offering inpatient and limited outpatient services.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesJoin an established collaborative and collegial inpatient palliative care team comprised of one physician, a dedicated full-time LPN, and a full-time licensed social worker and help us develop an outpatient program that will enhance and grow the Palliative Care services offered by Health System.Function as a program builder by overseeing the design & implementation of an outpatient palliative care clinic, to ultimately include Home Based Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner program.Experience practicing Palliative Medicine in an acute care hospital setting with program management experience preferred.EducationBoard Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care through American Academy of Hospice and Palliative MedicineBoard certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or General SurgeryCompletion of an accredited Palliative Medicine FellowshipCurrent GA Medical License or meet requirements to secure a GA licenseSchedule:Monday Friday (5 days/40 hours per week).This opportunity offers a great lifestyle working just outside of Atlanta but close enough to enjoy all of the amenities Atlanta has to offer.
