My name is Jason Long with ProTouch Locums. A facility we are partnered with is seeking a Board Certified, MSK Fellowship -Trained faculty member to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging with primary location at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) located in Maywood, Illinois, approximately 12 miles from downtown Chicago.I take care of malpractice insurance, 1099 competitive rate for compensation and travel.Job Description:
The candidate will join a growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services across Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, MacNeal Hospital, and associated ambulatory care centers.Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK)Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging.
This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsyPractice setting is hospital-based
2 Types of Call:
Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week. Also, weekend call about 7 calls per year.Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems.
Average Number of Cases Per Day:
Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/UltrasoundTrauma Level/Designation:
Loyola = Trauma 1, MNH and GMH = Trauma 2Number of Radiologists in Practice:
Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTETeleradiology is not used for MSKPatient Age Demographic:
All ages, but pediatrics not requiredThere are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested.EMR:
