Senior Wireless DSP Engineer
Position description:
Working as part of the Development Team you will be responsible for the design and implementation of DSP algorithms for the PHY layer of 4G/5G communication systems. Engineering responsibilities will begin at the conceptual phase and extend through product design and deployment.
Residency requirement: Candidates must be US Citizens or US permanent residents and reside in the US.
Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000

Senior Wireless DSP Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop various solutions from the first concept through implementation
- Lead project from developing the product concept to the development and design through deployment
- Improve 4G/5G systems through development and implementation of new DSP algorithms for the PHY layer
- Use MATLAB to improve and enhance DSP Algorithms
- Work with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal processors to perform testing
- Bring innovate ideas and creations to the company
Senior Wireless DSP Engineer
Education/Experience:
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional work experience with DSP Algorithms
Senior Wireless DSP Engineer
Required Skills:
- High end DSP algorithm modeling and development skills using Matlab with the focus on communications systems and signals.
- In-depth knowledge of 4G/5G air interface
- PHY layer algorithm design and simulation for OFDM systems
- Familiarity with wireless base station architectures.
- Must be familiar with and understand basic RF concepts, Software development, FPGA development, and algorithm implementation within DSP
- Laboratory experience with test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters.
- Strong project management experience with proven ability to lead project from start to finish
- Experience with patent disclosures and filings is a plus and will be part of the job.
Additional requirements:
- Occasional domestic travel estimated at about 10%
- Occasional after hours work particularly during product trials
