First American Trust technology teams create innovative banking solutions for the real estate industry. As a Product Analyst, you will participate on an agile team to create new product offerings for our customers, analyze issues reported by business users, define associated problem statements, make recommendations, and evaluate proposed solutions. Working closely with your Product Owner, you will deliver new and enhanced capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will perform and support knowledge sharing on value-add solutions, enabling business colleagues to fully utilize system capabilities, meet the changing needs of our clients and enable growth of our client base.What You'll DoYou will be an active participant in our continuous learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. In this hybrid-remote role, you may be required to travel to our headquarters location.You will contribute your business & systems analyst skills and experience to enhance the capabilities of in-house developed and SaaS products. Your strong client focus and agile mindset will help you to deliver on these key responsibilities:Build strong relationships with internal partners (such as Product Portfolio Management, Product Delivery Teams, Client Support and Operations, Compliance/Risk, Information Security, etc.)Review and understand internally developed and SaaS products, configurations, customizations and release notesElicit and capture business requirements and usage patterns to discern system impactsDocument and map current and future state business processes, data flows, systems integrations and other relevant visual diagrams to aid in collaborationNotify partner teams of impacts related to product releases and routine maintenance activityWork in a team to create and deliver functional user stories (specifications) based on architecture/design/business processesDetermine top use cases and platform synergies to drive continuous delivery of valueManage implementation of product updates and maintain related application configurationsManage work items within the product backlogs, collaborating with SaaS partners and in-house teammates on deliveryPerform quality assurance to ascertain compliance to requirementsTrain and assist the internal partners and the end user community with acceptance testing and production readinessWork with internal teams on completing internal and external audit requestsWhat You'll BringBachelor of Science degree in a technical or business discipline, or related field4-7 years of technology experience in a business systems analyst or similar function in the Financial Services sectorCraves knowledge and enjoys learning new skillsEnjoys planning, organizing, collaborating with team members, sharing skills, and learning from othersWorking knowledge of Azure Fundamentals (or AZ-900 certification)General understanding of commercial banking and sub-accounting conceptsTechnical experience implementing, supporting or administering internally developed and SaaS platform productsExperience working in a fast-paced, test-to-learn, and iterative software delivery environment utilizing Agile development methodologies, techniques and toolsIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience in incident management, triaging issues and implementing resolutionsAbility to discern complex explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various business and technical stakeholdersAbility to convey complex business and technical information in a concise mannerAbility to quickly learn the objectives, structures, processes, and policies of a business areaExcellent critical thinking and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationCandidates with the following preferred skills will have an advantage in our selection process:Experience implementing technology solutions to support 1031 Exchanges, Interest Bearing AccountsExperience supporting or implementing commercial banking platformsWorking Knowledge of SQLBusiness Analysis certification (CBAP or similar)Agile methodology certificationThe pay range for this role is $109,700.00- $146,200.00. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
