The Vice President, Leadership and Talent Development, leads and oversees the strategy, vision, and execution of leadership and talent development programs for the Y. This role is responsible for the successful implementation of programs and resources to develop individual and organizational leaders across the Y Network.
The VP, Leadership and Talent Development will be an agile visionary leader that works with stakeholders to reimagine and innovate the way the Y engages and develops leaders at all levels of the organization. The role will maintain a relentless focus on the user experience and practical application of the leadership qualities and capabilities needed for all leaders in today's environment rooted in the Y’s values and delivering measurable outcomes.
The role will integrate leading practices from Y’s in the network, feedback from regional Y Learning Centers with external perspectives and innovative approaches to ensure Y leaders have access to a robust set of leadership development opportunities and talent management resources.
This position offers a base salary of $179,300.00 to $239,000.00. Final salary is determined by required qualifications, experience, and education for this role.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Commensurate experience accepted.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in leadership development, talent management or related fields, with at least 5 years serving in a senior leadership role including competency models and certification tools and processes.
Proven ability to reimagine and innovate traditional approaches to leadership development and strong track record of inspiring, motivating and developing a high performing team.
Portfolio, program and project management skills and experience required.
Experience in effectively collaborating with key stakeholders across multiple functions.
Demonstrated leadership thriving within complex, matrixed environments, with an understanding of how to manage competing demands and perspectives.
Ability to train and coach others is required.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Must be user centric, coupling strategic focus with strong execution skills and results orientation.
Must possess the ability to understand and communicate complex processes.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication, and presentation skills are required.
Passionate about fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Proven track record in designing and implementing successful leadership development programs and experiences for executives and mid-level leaders.
Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying informed on the latest advancements in leadership development, learning technologies and training methods.
