Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

US International Tax Senior Manager, Compliance and Planning

to lead the global tax compliance and reporting efforts for our multinational business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing international tax compliance functions, including but not limited to, preparation and review of tax returns, provision calculations, transfer pricing compliance, and coordination with external advisors. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the company remains compliant with US international tax regulations and maximizes tax efficiency while mitigating risks. This role also includes collaboration on strategic tax planning initiatives, including transaction structuring, end-to-end process building, and modeling of key tax and finance metrics related to such planning initiatives. Preferably, this role is hybrid based (Tuesday - Thursday) at our headquarters in Waltham, MA. However, we will consider remote candidates on the East Coast and Central time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Manage International Tax Compliance:

Oversee the preparation and review of U.S. international tax filings including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118 and other related forms/statements.

Ensure compliance with Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI), Base Erosion and Anti-Abuse Tax (BEAT), and Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII) rules.

Manage annual and quarterly tax provision calculations under ASC 740 for foreign entities.

Tax Planning and Strategy:

Collaborate with the tax team to identify tax savings opportunities and develop tax-efficient structures for international operations.

Assist with the modeling, design and implementation of international tax planning initiatives.

Process Improvements:

Continuously assess and improve internal processes related to tax compliance and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate filings.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize tax-related workflows and data gathering.

Transfer Pricing Compliance:

Coordinate and manage the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions.

Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Collaboration with External Advisors:

Serve as the primary point of contact with external tax advisors and consultants.

Work with external firms to stay informed on global tax developments and new legislation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure the correct implementation of tax strategies and compliance efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required AND

10 years of progressive tax experience with a focus on international tax compliance AND

Minimum of 5 years' experience with U.S. tax compliance related to multinational corporations. OR

Master's Degree AND 7 years of progressive tax experience with a focus on international tax compliance and minimum of 3 years' experience with U.S. tax compliance related to multinational corporations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Taxation or JD with tax focus.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification strongly preferred.

Prior experience in a Big Four accounting firm or a large multinational organization preferred.

Strong understanding of U.S. international tax regulations, including Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, and foreign tax credit rules.

Proficiency in ASC 740 tax provision principles and practices.

Experience with transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex tax regulations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and regions.

Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
