Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About the Role:As an integral member of the America’s Sourcing Team, the Sr. Indirect Sourcing Specialist will drive end-to-end sourcing events for capital equipment and other key categories as needed. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to align with business goals and drive cost savings, while ensuring exceptional customer service across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to achieve annual cost savings and value contribution targetsAnalyzing spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate price and obtain the best value for customersExecuting end-to-end sourcing events to align with stakeholder goals; develop and review sourcing event documentation and analyze requests for proposals or quotesAnalyzing supplier financials and capabilities to drive supplier selection and negotiate favorable payment termsPartnering with BSC’s legal team to negotiate, develop and manage supplier contracts; review and approve terms to ensure alignment with stakeholder goalsManaging supplier relationships to resolve inquiries and disputes for internal customersEducating internal stakeholders on BSC’s sourcing and financial policies
Required qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of strategic sourcing experienceExperience with end-to-end sourcing process, negotiations and contract managementProficient with MS Excel and PowerPointWorking knowledge of ERP systems (i.e. SAP and Ariba)
Preferred qualifications:Knowledge of medical device or similarly regulated industryResults-driven with effective negotiation skills and ability to meet target goals and objectivesCustomer service oriented with strong interpersonal skillsExperience managing change, conflict and ambiguous situationsAbility to communicate effectively with individuals on all levels (written and verbal)Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; analytical decision-makingRequisition ID:
