FP&A Manager

Job DescriptionOur company's Animal Health is a worldwide research-based company, engaged in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of Animal Health products. For their Taiwan market, we are currently looking for a highly motivated and qualified FP&A Manager.The FP&A Manager will provide finance business support and partner with Business Unit Lead, Brand Managers, and other Leadership teams of the Commercial team. This role will be a key partner for the local market for all activities related to actuals, budgeting, and forecasting.You will be responsible for the monthly actuals reporting and validation. You will ensure the correct submission of budgeting and forecasting, collaborating with the local business for PGM analysis. Manage the rebate process for the Business Unit and market in conjunction with the Business Service Center. You will provide ad-hoc analytics to identify areas for opportunities and optimizations.Contribute and support the integration of Commercial Business, Systems, and Processes. Support the Business Unit and General Manager with financial expertise to assist in making financially sound decisions for the company, financial forecasts, pricing analysis, and in pursuit of business opportunities. Support business review and analyze business performance against key metrics while assisting in understanding key risks and opportunities.Analyze, seek feedback, and prepare commentary on major variances to forecasts, budgets, and prior year actual results, assisting in understanding key risks and opportunities. Proactively seek to understand customer needs and expectations to continuously enhance the support provided to the business. Help enforce financial controls within the organization, including support of the monthly close process with analysis of actuals.Evaluate and advise on financial changes to business strategy decisions, commercial programs, pricing, and business development activity, including acquisitions. The role reports to the Executive Director – Finance and Planning APSA Animal Health.Required Experience and SkillsBachelor or Master’s degree in finance, business administration, or similar5+ years’ experience in a finance roleExcellent written and verbal communication skills (English)Strong business acumen and ability to see the big pictureExtended financial understanding / analytical and ability to think conceptuallyDriven to lead by influence and execute on complex projectsStrong communicator and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and culturesGood knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse, BPC, and strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skillsPositive attitude and willingness to learnEfficient, accurate, and goal-orientedMulti-tasking and open to challengesTeam playerResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for monthly data validation (revenue and expense)Coordinate and consolidate regular/adhoc reporting requirements, ensuring high quality and timely submission.Prepare presentations for the local leadership teamLead and be responsible for the annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles for the market and verify accuracy of submissionsPartner closely with the Business to deliver high-quality supportProvide technical expertise and local guidance for finance toolsActively seek opportunities for improving processes, increasing efficiency, and promoting an environment that nurtures creativity and improvement of current practicesLead or participate in regional and global projectsEmployee Status:
