Branch Manager Position
TCCU is seeking an outstanding Branch Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for the effective performance and functionality of the credit union. Tasks include guiding and developing the tellers and member service team, coordinating branch operations, ensuring the safety of the building, confirming that policies and regulations are adhered to, and oversight in complex member transactions. Required skills include a proactive approach, exceptional leadership qualities, strong coaching skills, and the ability to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations. Thorough knowledge of credit union operations and experience in leading a financial institution is ideal.

Requirements:Desired Education and Experience
A minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
A bachelor’s degree in leadership, business administration, finance, or related field is highly desirable.
5 years of experience in a similar role.
3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Credit union or banking experience is necessary.
Skills Required
Thorough understanding of branch functions and roles included in the front-end.
Knowledge of financial rules and regulations and responsibilities relating to the Right to Privacy Act, Regulation E (EFTS), Regulation CC (Funds Availability), Truth in Savings Act, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and ACH rules.
Savvy computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exhibits exceptional leadership qualities, organizational skills, and analytical aptitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and listening abilities.
Strong, reliable decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex branch issues.
Ability to remain calm and deescalate any member complaints or situations.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, tax documents, general ledgers, and legal documents.
Ability to understand external economic conditions.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of members, employees, and regulatory agencies.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in interpreting policies and procedures, making exceptions as required.
Ability to make decisions, act, and accept responsibility for results.
Ability to act appropriately and professionally in any situation.
Ability to operate general office machinery and equipment such as photocopier, fax machine, computers, laptops, and phone systems.
