Full-timeRecruitment type: Fixed TermAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Strategic Development Manager to lead and manage relationships with our system integrator partners, developer communities, and other key tech partners. This role combines account management, strategic growth, and hands-on partnership execution to help drive Canva’s expansion through collaborative, innovative partnerships.What you'll be doing:Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for Canva’s system integrator, developer, and tech partners. Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships that drive alignment with Canva’s long-term objectives and deliver measurable value.Account Strategy & Growth:
Develop and execute tailored account plans to align partner goals with Canva’s strategic objectives, driving engagement, growth, and measurable outcomes.Program Execution & Coordination:
Lead the operational aspects of partnership management, ensuring all meetings, agendas, and action items are effectively organized and tracked. Your detail-oriented approach will keep stakeholders aligned and initiatives moving forward seamlessly.Developer Ecosystem Engagement:
Work with developer relations to promote Canva’s API and integration tools within developer networks, increasing adoption and innovation within partner solutions.Solution Enablement:
Collaborate closely with partners to identify integration opportunities, develop joint solutions, and support go-to-market initiatives that maximize the partnership’s impact.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with Canva’s Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives, including creating co-marketing content, developing product solutions, and planning joint events.Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators, track partnership progress, and report on outcomes to optimize and scale our approach.What we’re looking for:Strategic Partnerships Management:
5+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or account management, ideally within a tech, SaaS, or digital environment, with a proven ability to manage complex partnerships and drive mutual growth.Prior System Integrator & Strategic Tech Partner Engagement:
Proven track record in working with system integrators and strategic tech partners, understanding their business models, and aligning partnership strategies to support joint growth initiatives.Technical Understanding:
Understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions, with the ability to discuss technical concepts and engage with technical partners.Project Planning & Execution:
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end partnership initiatives, including project planning, timeline management, and delivering results across multiple stakeholders within complex tech environments.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering) to drive alignment and achieve shared partnership objectives.Executive Communication & Relationship Building:
Strong skills in engaging senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers, with experience navigating complex tech partner organizations to build influence and foster executive-level relationships.Organizational Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on managing detailed documentation, meeting follow-ups, and coordination of multiple tech partnership initiatives to ensure streamlined processes and consistency.Systems:
